From Green Hammerton Parish Council

Grass Management Consultation

From April 2015, North Yorkshire County Council will no longer be providing grass cutting services to our village except for the sight lines at road junctions. Consequently, we will have to provide and pay for grass cutting in the future. The Parish Council has been divided about how we should manage our grassed areas but after much debate we have agreed upon a number of statements and would greatly value your views on each so that we can form a plan which will achieve our objective of pleasing the majority of people whilst fulfilling our statutory duty to have regard to the purpose of conserving wildlife diversity.

Below there is a link to a short online questionnaire which provides you with a chance to have your say. A copy of the survey will be delivered to every house in the village but there is also a printable version below if you do need extra copies. Alternatively copies of the survey are available at the Post Office.

The views of all residents are valued so we are urging everyone to complete the survey.

Please return your printed response to the post box attached to the Parish Council noticeboard or complete your online copy by October 31st 2014. We thank you in anticipation of a good response.
