Final reminder that this coming Friday (August 25th) is the last day for your protest letters to reach Harrogate Council Planning Dept. whether by posting it on the planning portal, taking it to the council offices or sending it in the post.
This is really important if you want to contribute to the protest against 3000 houses.
Last week most of you will have had a car sticker with the Keep Green Hammerton Green logo put through your door. This sticker can he peeled off the backing, and apparently it sticks better if the surface of it is moistened, and stuck on the inside of your car rear window or wherever. It will not leave a mark and is easily removable. The idea is to spread our protest even wider and to keep it in the public eye once the consultation period is over.
If you do not want to put it on your car window, you could put it on a house window or maybe give it to a neighbour who may be able to use it on a second car.
What better way to spend Sunday night of Bank Holiday weekend than at the ROCK CONCERT in the village club?
Colin Beardmore has arranged a fantastic event in support of KGHG – free entrance, great BBQ food and raffles along with amazing rock music!
