KIRK & GREEN HAMMERTON W.I.
Our February meeting was also Valentine’s Day and we decided to celebrate the Climate Change Green Hearts campaign by make green hearts. Workshops took the form of dry felting, embroidery, needlework and air drying clay, all the members participated and all were rewarded with a green heart to hang in their home as a reminder of the climate we live in and what we are trying to change for the better. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday 14th March 2017 at 7.30pm in Green Hammerton Village Hall, the speaker is Roger Mattocks and he will be talking about the Staveley Nature Reserve.
