General Household Waste
General (i.e. non-recyclable) waste should be placed in your black wheelie bin.
This is collected every 14 days on a Tuesday. The bin should be left in front of your property by 7AM and collected from the roadside as soon as possible after it has been emptied.
You should place recycling in the correct container as follows:
Black boxes – Mixed glass bottles & jars, plastic bottles, food tins and drink cans, aerosols and foil
Blue bag – Card, paper, newspapers and magazines
Brown wheelie bin – Garden waste such grass cuttings, leaves, twigs and small branches. No soil!
This is collected on alternate Tuesdays to the general waste. The bin and boxes should be left in front of your property by 7AM and collected from the roadside as soon as possible after it has been emptied.
More info on what can be placed in each box / bag can found on this leaflet.
