Parish Clerk Vacancy
Green Hammerton Parish Council is looking to appoint a motivated, community focused and enthusiastic new Clerk to join our team.
The new Clerk to the Council & Responsible Financial Officer will be responsible for the administrative and financial affairs of the Council, attending and recording meetings, coordinating communications and correspondence, maintaining Parish Council accounts and advising the Council.
Salary: between £3,000/£4,000 pa, dependent upon experience & qualifications
Working Hours: average of 7 hours per week Essential: Excellent administrative, financial, IT, and communication skills
Desirable: Appropriate CiLCA qualification however relevant training is available to develop the role
Location: Much of the work will be conducted from your own home however attendance at 8 meetings per year (conducted at Green Hammerton Village Hall) plus occasional additional meetings is essential
