Vacancy – Nun Monkton Primary School

The Governors and Headteacher of Nun Monkton Primary School are looking to appoint a part-time, suitably qualified school administrator for up to 9 hours per week, to be worked flexibly, term time only, in negotiation with the headteacher. Salary Band 3 which equates to £8.54 per hour, paid monthly in arrears.

Experience of a school setting preferred, but training can be given.

Whilst the post has routine duties, the applicant must be flexible in approach to working to deadlines and the work related pressures of helping to run the school administration.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small team in our unique village school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, welcoming individual with excellent communication skills, who can contribute to the wider school ethos of “Educating for Life” by promoting effective communication with all stakeholders (parents, pupils, teachers, governors).The ability to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the school website would be advantageous.

Applicants must be computer literate and competent users of Microsoft Excel, Word, basic database entry and preference will be given to candidates with some prior understanding of School Money system.
